Restoration of an ancient farm house with a perfect balance between old and new style. The base idea of this big restoration was to transform this old farmhouse with annexed stables into a huge fully glazed living space with a mezzanine. To keep a balance between old and new style, Brombal suggested to close this space through a glass wall with Cor-Ten steel windows and doors. All the frames were installed inside the arches and attached to the columns with stiffeners giving the feeling of a suspended look and avoiding extra costs. The result is aesthetically clean and functional, giving a new life to this ancient structure.
