SMART GLASS SOLUTIONS
Glazing surfaces in a curtain wall system can get very large, in turn increasing solar gain. For this reason, it’s especially important to choose glass wisely. Brombal offers a wide selection of glass solutions including glass with solar-control properties to modify light transmission & to adjust glass transparency / color to help control sunlight reflection.

Brombal offers a wide range of configurations, allowing clients to create different types of glass walls. Our team allows for freedom to design structures like no other. Based on building structure, two different types of profiles can be used: a self-supporting curtain wall or metal cover facade.

THERMALLY BROKEN, SELF-SUPPORTING CURTAIN WALL
The steel curtain wall by Brombal guarantees full compatibility and integration with the architectural design. This solution combines slim profiles, large glass surfaces, and a wide range of openings in an integrated window-door facade that features structural performance levels three times higher than aluminium.
PROFILE SKY 1
The SKY 1 profile is a thermally broken system that incorporates integrated structural mullions in Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, or Cor-Ten Steel. The slim sections are thermally broken for increased strength and energy efficiency, to bring a glass facade that’s beautiful in design + performance.
FEATURES
A special system of EPDM gaskets composed with drainage grooves ensures excellent air and water-tightness to avoid seepage. The 56 mm glazing panel is placed in front on specific glass supports, tightly connected to the structural profiles and fixed to the mullions. This flexible profile design can also integrate windows and doors as needed.
PROFILE SKY 2
This system is designed for thermal break add-on glass facades of large dimensions, with the possibility of combining different materials such as Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Cor-Ten Steel, Brass, and wood on the interior and exterior of the curtain wall. The SKY 2 profile offers solutions for high-performing glass walls of many types and sizes.
FEATURES
The narrow sightlines allow sunlight to effortlessly flood into buildings, boosting the look and lighting of the structure. This system can be applied to profiles and gaskets to welded or wooden girders ensuring installation of glazing of up to 50 mm thickness. It’s secured to mullions and transoms by means of a stainless steel external pre-drilled cover.

To meet technical needs of the building envelope, Brombal leads the entire product design process for the SKY 2 curtain wall system. External curtain wall covers are available in Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Cor-Ten Steel and Brass.
