ALBEMARLE BARN RESTORATION – bronze windows and doors for a rustic style and high energy performance

External view of the barn with burnished brass windows and doors

The conversion of an old pre-civil barn into a home using reclaimed materials to keep the original spirit of the structure was a very big challenge. Firstly, this original early 19th  Century barn was entirely dismantled and moved to the client’s property. Then, it was restored to become a contemporary rustic home. Brombal provided burnished brass windows along with large bronze entry doors with high energy efficiency performance. The wide fenestration installed in front and back the house allows ample lighting in all the rooms. Ample views of the valley on one side and the mountains on the other.
