True Divided Lite
True Divided Lite are profiles which divide the windows in patterns. TDL are used in case you want to replicate the same profiles you have between two different windows or doors in order to have the same apparance. On top of that they are used also when you have different panels in the same W&Ds, as in case of the kick panels in the doors. TDL are welded one to the others and to the main frame so that they appear as a continuous element.
Simulate Divided Lite
Simulated Divided Lite are shaped bars/ plates / profiles used to divide the glazing in different patterns. SDL is an alternative to the True Divided Lite, the SDL aestetichal equality to the TDL solution is guaranteed by the spacer which divided internally the glazing. Compared to the TDL, SDL has some advantages:
– SDL does not “break” the glass so that the thermal performace, guaranteed by the continuity of the glazing, are higher;
– SDL is thinner than TDL;
– SDL can be customize and can have many different shapes;
